Steve Beauchamp
As a child Steve remembers helping his father Raymond deliver presents and turkeys to families at Christmas in support of the Children’s Aid Society where Raymond worked for over 30 years. Throughout the years and with the growing success of his business Steve continued to want to make a difference and to give back to his community he grew up in. Over the last several years Steve and his wife Danielle have continued to support the Society by funding the Beauchamp Hub named after his family and inspired by their legacy and the impact they have had on youth and the community.
In late 2022 Steve and Danielle returned to North Bay to discuss the plans for the Elmwood redevelopment project. Moved by the meeting which included stories shared by youth and the impact that their support has had, Danielle and Steve announced their 1.3M pledge to help kick start the redevelopment project.
The Society is forever grateful for the kindness and generosity that the Beauchamp family has shown, Elmwood would not be what it is today without their support.
The Beauchamp Hub is a safe space for youth where they can collaborate, play and learn. The space located at 140 Elmwood includes various amenities such as a youth pantry, upcycled clothing boutique, gymnasium, community garden, outdoor space, section 23 classroom, computer lounge and offers a variety of drop in programming and activities.
